TRAINART – Building new skills for innovative business models in the performing arts sector has officially started during the kick-off meeting that took part in Ancona, last 29th and 30th October.

Let’s see what happened and what’s going on next.

Marche Spettacolo – lead partner of TRAINART – introduced the project to its members, an audience made of artists, curators and executives coming from the performing arts sector, that also had the possibility to  get to know the european organizations that constitute the project team.

The five partners – Marche Spettacolo, Haceria Arteak, Teater Nu, Kulturanova, Welcome aps – and the associated partner Limerick City and County Council – Culture and Arts Department spent two days working together, talking about their visions and proposals, all with the same objective: innovate the cultural business, one step at the time.

We’ll soon start collecting data through a questionnaire, in order to know from artists and cultural producers the most needed professional skills in the cultural sector. Data are necessary to build an effective training programme in the next phases of the project.

The next Steering Committee Meeting will be on May 2020 in Limerick, Ireland.
